Job Description
As a Support Engineer you are responsible for the flawless handling of customer requests, orders, and administrative processes. But that’s just the beginning. You’ll work with smart tools and AI systems that support your work at the base level — your true strength lies in the interpretation, nuance, and improvements that only a human can provide.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hosting, DNS, SSL, domains, and email delivery
- Analyze customer orders, changes, and cancellations with an eye for process improvement
- Spot recurring technical problems or inefficiencies - and propose improvements
- Collaborate with our system engineers to solve edge cases and optimize backend workflows
- Leverage AI tools to handle repetitive tasks, but apply your own insight where nuance is required
- Take ownership: if it lands on your desk, you’ll see it through
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a smart, tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You have a curious mind, a strong technical foundation, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
You:
- Have MBO+ or HBO-level thinking (associate or bachelor), preferably in IT, computer science, or a related field
- Understand the technical workings behind web hosting - DNS, FTP, cPanel/DirectAdmin, databases, etc.
- Are comfortable with command-line tools and have a basic understanding of Linux environments
- Have experience with or interest in automation and AI tools (e.g., chatbots, scripting, task automation)
- Communicate clearly and empathetically, even when things get complex
- Enjoy solving puzzles and thinking ahead to prevent future issues
- Are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
- Bonus points for experience with tools like Zendesk, Microsoft 365, or scripting languages (Bash, Python)

- A monthly gross salary between EUR 2,789 and EUR 3,524, depending on experience and education (based on a 40-hour workweek)
